What's Goin' On Wednesday

I decanted body wash today. Tommy's container was nearly empty and the mix in mine was too thick.  A new bottle of product did the trick.  Because I don't use the original container, I was able to take care of both of us.  My container had some low sudsing shampoo I didn't want to use on my hair -- but it's fine for body wash.

I found the product at Burlington's, and it was marked down because a small amount seemed to have leaked from the bottle.  A full bottle was $6.99, and this one was missing a fraction of an ounce.  That's fine by me! Once the container was drained, I removed the label and added it to my stash of empties to re-use.

This was my outfit today. Not only did I go shopping (I picked up groceries too), but we also had a meeting with our financial advisors to start planning for Tommy's retirement roll-over.  This is a jacket I grabbed from Kohls for a couple of bucks three years ago, which is now apparently in style.  The receptionist told me she loved my Teddy Jacket.  This was a good investment of three dollars!

I carry my keys on a hook that I hang from the hardware on my bag. If the bag has brass hardware, I use a brass hook. If it's steel, I use a steel one. It's easy to unhook my key and change them out.

Frankie was out of food, so I made up a batch of pork and venison.  She was happy to lick the pot clean for me!  This should last a week. I can't make much more because there is no room.  We are invited to a Valentine's pot-luck and I am bringing three pints of French vanilla ice cream.  I am going to need space in one of the freezers for that -- and we are already at capacity!  I know what I am doing tomorrow...

    1. Thank you! I don't lose my keys as much anymore. And no one knows what brand of soaps, shampoos, conditioner, or moisturizer I use! Could be cheap, could be expensive, they'll never know ;-)

  2. Yes, that fleece is very "on trend", the kids here love 'em! Great tip with the keys. I rarely take keys out with me, I don't drive and phone Jon to check he's in before heading for home! xxx

    1. I used to lose my keys all of the time, so this is a big help. When I used to take the train to work, random ladies would stop me and mention they started doing this too after seeing my keys. I wish I'd figured it out years earlier...
