A Dress was a Success

I gave a dress a try today.  Although Tuesday is my normal pool day, Tommy's car will be in the shop tomorrow and he will need mine, so I will be homebound.  The dress was so much easier to change in and out of, that I think I will be wearing more of them on days I swim.

I bought a tripod hoping to be able to take better pictures of my wardrobe selfies.  Finding the right set-up has been a challenge I am still working on!  Putting checks in front of checks doesn't work.  Lighting wasn't great here, either.  The images I take in my hallway, are mirror shots, and often not bright enough either.  This is something I need to spend more time on.

Dinner was a deep-dish pizza using Flashfood dough and mozzarella.  I used my meat sauce from the weekend, plus ricotta cheese.  Another orange topped salad was my side.

The pool took up three plus hours of my day, and I spent time walking Frankie and doing a few chores. It was a low-key day, which was nice.  How was your day?

  1. I had a good day and had a physical therapy appointment. I like the dress and agree that they are easier to get back into after a swim. Your deep dish pizza looks delicious.

    1. The pizza was really good! Good for you for making so much progress with your PT. When will you be allowed to swim again? I remember having to wait a while. It was nice when I could go back to it!

  2. I have had a good day, even though I got up at 5:30 as I needed to know who won our election. Things were still pretty tight when I toddled off to bed to read for awhile.

    God bless.

    1. You already know I love your Country. But now even more-so. I woke up Tommy to let him know the results. Such a relief. We need you and your strength. Most Americans have no idea how strong Canadians are. You will be a big part of helping us through this and the election was a great victory.

  3. I've often wondered how you can stand struggling into trousers when you've been swimming. My fellow swimmers say I could make getting dressed after swimming an Olympic sport as I do it so quickly - dress, knickers, socks, trainers (plus a jacket if it's cold) and I'm done.
That dress looks lovely on you. x
